Eurocartex has always supported research and experimentation of paper food packaging, in collaboration with several university departments and scientific research centers in Italy.

Synergistic relationships, leading to the transfer of new knowledge and new technology from scientific sphere directly to production system for the development of new products, such as biodegradable and compostable coated papers and natural packaging with Mater-Bi®, and sustainable processes.

Innovation of flexible packaging, wrapping papers and cushioning inserts, through technical and functional features studies, with systematic controls of the materials, to ensure compliance with legislation about human health safety and preservation of the environment.
